1. A candidate  is deemed eligible for consideration for admission to a degree programme  if she/he has obtained:


1. The Uganda Certificate of Education with a minimum of five passes at the same sitting or an equivalent qualification, and
2. At least two Advanced level principal passes in approved subjects at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Level Certificate of Education Examination (A-level) or an equivalent qualification.

For the purpose of this regulation, except where otherwise provided for, all subjects offered by the Uganda National Examinations Board at A-level and O-level are regarded as approved subjects.

Within the framework of the AFRISA- SPEDA Entry Requirements, students aspiring to upgrade from Certificate to Diploma and Diploma to Degree will have to apply for the required level after fulfilling the minimum grades required for upgrading.
